New global ocean currents and land cover products in EnvDATA

We've just added access to two more global products through Movebank's Environmental Data Automated Track Annotation System (EnvDATA):

• OSCAR ocean surface currents: global near-surface ocean currents at 1/3-degree, 5-day resolution going back to 1993.
• MODIS annual land cover: global land use and land cover categories based on several classification systems, all available at 500-m and .05-degree resolution going back to 2001.

How it works: Request an annotation and EnvDATA will calculate the current velocity, land cover or hundreds of other variables for each time-location record in your dataset and deliver you the results along with documentation to help you understand what they mean and cite the source products.
