New Env-DATA products and other site updates

We are happy to announce that several new products are now available through the Env-DATA Track Annotation Service:

• Human population density (GPW and GRUMP data products) from Columbia University and the NASA Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC)
• Distance to the Nearest Coast from NASA's Ocean Biology Processing Group
• Global Climate Indexes from NOAA's National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center
• Thermal and orographic uplift velocity, estimated by Movebank using weather and elevation datasets
• More MODIS Land Vegetation Indices products

You will also notice that there is some new information in the Study Details:

• The Last Summary Update tells you when the data in the study were last changed. This was added to allow better support for very large datasets, for which summary updates can take some time to calculate.
• The Movebank ID is a unique identifier for each study that can be used to set up live feeds for GSM data and to embed maps of your data in Movebank on other websites.
